NOT A PARTY VENUE This is a modest house in a quiet residential neighbourhood. It must be treated with respect at all times.
MINIMUM NOISE All visitors are expected to behave respectfully. Continued access to 30 East Drive depends on responsible conduct.
NO ALCOHOL Alcohol is not permitted inside the house.
NO OUIJA BOARDS Please do not bring Ouija boards, to avoid escalating activity and out of respect for the house and its resident entity, ‘Fred’.
NO EXORCISMS Exorcisms are not permitted. Aside from being ineffective in this context, the paranormal activity is part of what makes 30 East Drive the experience it is.
NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE HOUSE 30 East Drive is offered as a HAUNTED HOUSE EXPERIENCE, not a hotel or B&B. The house is old and may be cold, dusty, or show signs of damp. Do not visit if you have allergies to old buildings or expect a pristine environment.
NO REFUNDS No refunds will be given if no paranormal activity is experienced, if ‘Fred’ does not appear, or if you are dissatisfied for any reason.
NO SOUVENIRS Please do not remove any items from the house. Photos, videos are welcome, but props, fixtures, and fittings must remain in place.
LEAVE QUIETLY You may be leaving late at night. Please exit the property as quietly as possible out of respect for neighbours.
NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY OUTSIDE A child with autism lives nearby and may be disturbed by camera flashes. Please be considerate.
COPYRIGHT Any images, footage, recordings, or stories captured at 30 East Drive remain the copyright of the property owner. You are welcome to share material you capture, and the owner would appreciate copies of anything you consider paranormal in nature.
ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR Visitors who are confrontational, disruptive, or disrespectful should not enter the house. Any such behaviour will result in immediate removal.
CHILDREN Children (16 or under) are permitted only with a responsible adult. The accompanying adult accepts full responsibility for them at all times. Please list each child’s name next to your own.
NO PARKING ON EAST DRIVE The road is a bus lane and parking there causes disruption. Use the driveway or nearby streets only.
FILMING AND BROADCASTING Visitors consent to being filmed or recorded should CCTV be installed at the property, without recourse.
LEAVE THE HOUSE AS YOU FOUND IT Please clean up after yourselves as you would in a friend’s home. Empty the fridge and bins (a wheelie bin is provided outside).
FINALLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: I ACKNOWLEDGE AND WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE THAT THE OWNER CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT DOES (OR INDEED DOESN’T) HAPPEN IN 30 EAST DRIVE, AND IN CROSSING THE THRESHOLD OF 30 EAST DRIVE, I DECLARE THAT: I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY ACTIONS AND WILL NEVER SEEK COMPENSATION OF ANY KIND, AND UNDERSTAND THAT ANY DISREGARD FOR THE ABOVE (PARTICULARLY DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOUR TOWARD CAROL) WILL RESULT IN MY IMMEDIATE EJECTION AND SUBSEQUENT BARRING FROM 30 EAST DRIVE.
